Mission Statement
Casting for Kids was created to help children fighting cancer and for pediatric cancer research at the nationally recognized American Family Children’s Hospital and the Carbone Cancer Center in Madison, WI. Now in our ninth year, we are proud to announce that we have raise over $1,200,000. Please help our event by attending or donating to Casting for Kids.
Where is it?
The tournament headquarters is at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI. The fishing tournament will take place on lakes Kegonsa, Monona, Mendota and Waubesa.
When is it?
The next Casting for Kids event will take place on May 15th, 2027.

Casting for Kids would like to thank every Guide, Volunteer, Committee Member, Sponsor, Donar, Participant, Guest, Auctioneer and Photographer! Because of your support of Casting for Kids 2026, we raised over $220,000 and helped us achieve just over $1.2 million rasied. Thank you!
